A historic sixty-foot fish boat was under full restoration in a shipyard, being stripped of a hundred years of paint layers, inside and out.  This photograph depicts a wall in the galley where all the cupboards, shelving and benches had been stripped away, leaving areas of stained and distressed wood.  Much later, when I was editing my shots of that day, I saw in this photo the suggestion of animal figures, reminiscent of the ancient cave paintings in Lascaux, France.
