A sixty-foot fish boat was being fully restored in a shipyard. Every nut, bolt and screw had been removed, including all of the planks of the ship – only the ribs of the hull and supporting walls remained. On the external transom at the stern of the boat, a cleat had been removed, leaving old layers of paint and bare wood stained with rust.
